This course is designed to give a more in depth look at more refined woodworking - ideal for a followup to my 1 or 2 day beginners courses. After selecting your timber from a range of hardwood and softwoods, you will learn to saw and prepare timber, ready to cut dovetail joinery for your box by hand and creating snug fitting lids. The courses are run from our small workshop in the heart of Weardale in County Durham, a stunning remote part of the country with dramatic lanscapes and varied wildlife in abundance.
